Friday I had the honor of speaking on the SCAD 2018 EMBRACE Conference panel about the importance of workplace diversity & inclusion from an LGBTQ perspective. Having graduated just 3 yrs ago it was an honor sharing my story & reflecting on recent years. I then hosted a breakout session “Diverse Experiences & Lessons Learned” sharing how my LGBTQ identity has intersected with my career to date. It made me so proud to speak of the creative diversity & career leadership/guidance WITH/agency, Focus Features/Trailer Park, and Vaden Automotive Group have shown as I’ve launched my career. Proudly spoke about the pantheon of incredible women I’ve been honored to work for & with in my journey (thinking of Blair, Ann, Liz, Jane, Lora, and my colleagues at WITH/agency).
