SCAD EMBRACE Conference 2019
Such a joy being able to return to my alma mater and speak to students about being LGBTQ+ in the workplace. Meaningful conversations about coming out at home and at work, addressing ones identity and unique needs in the workplace, and creating systems and onboarding processes to welcome all. Grateful to have attended a university that understands and addresses these issues, and prepares young LGBTQ+ students for their lives after college.
Atlanta Pride 2019
Incredible honor marching alongside IATSE 479 in Atlanta Pride this year. Honored not just to reflect on the past few years experiencing Atlanta, but to march with incredible queer creatives who proudly represent the film industry. A beautiful rainy day.
WITH/pride
Proud of The WITH/agency for their work on this billboard for the iconic Fox Theatre, Atlanta Pride 2019.
The Fox Theatre by the WITH/agency
Thrilled to share the 'making of' film created by Johnny Kim and Glen Kwon (creators behind Stay Visualant) detailing the creation of a campaign and series of commercial spots for The Fox Theatre by the WITH/agency.

Spot #1 | Survivor
I've been working on this - producing and directing - over the past year, and more content will continue to roll out over the next six months. This project was ambitious, complex, and involved a crew of 50+ working tirelessly and being experts in their department (thinking about Joshua Wiley Sims, gaffer, and Whitney Hill Doyle, 1st AD, in particular).
Thank you to Jin Kim for lending your immense talent to this project - as DP and colorist. Over the past year it's been an honor to challenge each other and continue achieving the impossible.
Rose Freitag, it's been the thrill of my professional career working so closely with you. From writing scripts to starting every day with new challenges to overcome, I hope we work together for many years to come.
Thank you to The WITH/agency (including Blair Brady, Jamie Sims, Jon Voss, Jessica Erin Jackson., and everyone else on the team) for believing in this crew and supporting this production from pre-production through broadcast. The last year has been such a ride, and I look forward to many - even more ambitious - projects ahead.

October Project Wrap
Wrapped on a project with The WITH/agency today - one of the most dynamic, challenging, and meaningful experiences I’ve had. So grateful to have had the experience of working so closely with the wit, fun, professionalism, and partnership w/ Rose Freitag for a project with such scope, and DP Jin Kim - incredible talent & skill.
SCAD 2018 EMBRACE Conference
Friday I had the honor of speaking on the SCAD 2018 EMBRACE Conference panel about the importance of workplace diversity & inclusion from an LGBTQ perspective. Having graduated just 3 yrs ago it was an honor sharing my story & reflecting on recent years. I then hosted a breakout session “Diverse Experiences & Lessons Learned” sharing how my LGBTQ identity has intersected with my career to date. It made me so proud to speak of the creative diversity & career leadership/guidance WITH/agency, Focus Features/Trailer Park, and Vaden Automotive Group have shown as I’ve launched my career. Proudly spoke about the pantheon of incredible women I’ve been honored to work for & with in my journey (thinking of Blair, Ann, Liz, Jane, Lora, and my colleagues at WITH/agency). Thank you Savannah College of Art and Design for having me.

BOY ERASED | Trailer
Can’t describe how I feel watching the trailer for Boy Erased (@boyerased). I had the honor of working on the film as EPK cinematographer/BTS documentarian (EPK: capturing daily behind the scenes footage & interviews w/ cast & crew). I still can’t believe this was the first motion picture I had the honor of working on. This project was personal in the deepest way for me. Read the book, watch the trailer, and support this film - it will change lives.
California Documentary Roadtrip
Beautiful experience over the last few weeks producing on a series of documentary shorts for a commercial production studio based in Atlanta.
'Boy Erased' Behind-the-scenes Documentarian
Wrapped early this morning on the most incredible experience of my life. Over the last 8 weeks I was honored to work as the behind the scenes documentarian on ‘Boy Erased,’ a forthcoming film about gay conversion therapy. In my role I interviewed cast and crew and captured daily BTS content. Given my own struggle coming out, this project had deep personal meaning for me, and I’m awestruck that this is the first major motion picture I’ve worked on. This film, like the memoir on which it's based, will save lives and change minds, and I’m honored to have had a hand in it. So grateful for all the friends I’ve made during this incredible time.
The Cast of 'Boy Erased' Goes Purple for Spirit Day
